A Scenery Moving Robot
For one production, I needed a bed to move on and off a stage without anyone touching it, so I began work on a remote controlled scenery mover. The finished chassis is 21" by 25", and is compact enough to hide in most scenic items.
Using wheelchair motors from eBay and off the shelf controllers, it can move 400 pounds with no wires attached.

The radio controller is a Flysky transmitter and receiver. It's popular with radio control enthusiasts because of its highly customizable setup and low price point.
